If you use JOY, the chat assistant on this website, we ask for your first name, email address and city before it answers. We use these details to reply to you and, as you agree when you start the chat, to contact you about JOYIZM. Your messages are sent to a third-party artificial intelligence service provider to write JOY's replies, and a third-party security service checks that the chat is being used by a person rather than an automated program. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.
We use a web analytics service to understand which pages people use and which are not working, so that we can improve them. It sets cookies in your browser and records your visit as one of many: pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and whether you arrived from a search result, an advertisement or a link. We do not sell it.
The same service is connected to our advertising account, so that we can tell whether an advertisement led to somebody joining. That connection measures outcomes and nothing else: we have switched off the settings that would add you to an advertising audience or personalise advertising to you, so no advertising profile of you is built here.

When you send us an enquiry, or give us your details in the JOY chat, we keep what you typed so that we can answer you. We also store it in the system we use to keep track of enquiries, which is operated for us by HubSpot. It holds the details you gave us and what you asked about, so that whoever replies can see the conversation and so that we are not asking you the same questions twice.
It records only what you sent us. It does not follow your browsing, and nothing about your visit reaches it unless you submit a form.
If you would like us to remove your enquiry and your details from it, write to privacy@joyizm.com and we will.
